      Your Privacy Matters: MyZippyScan is designed with privacy at its core.
      Your documents never leave your device. All scanning and processing happens locally on your iPhone or iPad.
    

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

We do not collect personal information. MyZippyScan does not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, or submit personal details to use the app.

1.2 Document Data

Storage: All scanned documents, images, and PDFs are stored locally on your device only.
No Cloud Upload: Your documents are never transmitted to our servers or third-party cloud services.
Your Control: You can export, share, or delete your documents at any time.

1.3 Camera and Photo Library Access

MyZippyScan requires camera access to scan documents and photo library access to import existing images. These permissions are:

Used only for scanning documents and importing images.
Never used to collect, upload, or analyze your photos without your action.
Fully under your control through iOS Settings.

2. Advertising and App Tracking Transparency

2.1 How We Use Ads

MyZippyScan is supported by ads to help keep the app free. We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the app.

2.2 App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

In compliance with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework, MyZippyScan will request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies’ apps and websites.

This app uses device information to show relevant ads and improve your experience.

What happens when you see the tracking prompt:

If you allow tracking: AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) to show more relevant ads.
If you deny tracking: You will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. App functionality is unchanged.

2.3 What AdMob Collects

When tracking is allowed, Google AdMob may collect information such as:

Device advertising identifier (IDFA)
IP address or approximate location
Device type and operating system version
App usage data and ad interactions

2.4 Changing Your Mind

You can change your tracking preference at any time in iOS:

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
Toggle tracking on or off for ZippyScan

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage Only

All scanned documents, settings, and app data are stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to this data.

3.2 Data Deletion

You can delete individual documents directly in the app.
You can remove all app data by deleting MyZippyScan from your device.
We do not store your documents on external servers.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google AdMob

MyZippyScan uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob’s data practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google Uses Information from Sites or Apps That Use Its Services.

4.2 No Other Third Parties

We do not use other third-party analytics, tracking, or data collection services.

5. Children’s Privacy

MyZippyScan does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because data remains on the device and is not transmitted to us, the risk of external storage is minimized.
